RCC Tuesday Gravel #4 – The Final One!

For TNGR #4 we are going to meet at the Little Church in the Valley (Saint Nicholas Anglican Church). We will do a very fun loop that we did last year, with 3 climbs (1-warm legs up, 2-to see some bison, 3-to finish up legs).
With the daylight dwindling, let’s meet at 6:15pm and plan to set off for the ride at or shortly before 6:30pm, if possible. If you can toss on a front light on that would be great. Buf for surely have a rear blinking light as per usual.

Tuesday Night Road – Stage #5- May 30, 2023
Format:
- Pursuit (i.e., Group C goes first, then Group B, then Group A)
When/where: We will meet at 6:15 pm at the Condie Nature Refuge Parking Lot. 6:30 pm start
Route:
https://www.strava.com/routes/3087125537750634990
Route summary:
The Return of the Strada BianCondie. This annual event features pavement (70%) and gravel (30%). The ideal bike not clear, road bikes (with 32-35 mm tires possibly, less not recommended) and Gravel bikes (with faster tires) could both be options. The middle section of 7 Bridges usually tends to have a lot of loose Gravel so perhaps the Gravel Bike is the best…..
But the James Street Hill and long stretch of 734 may make the Road bike the best.
The route finishes historically in the parking lot, so be prepared for some bumps.
Flagged Segments:
- 1 KOM up for grabs:
— James St Hill: https://www.strava.com/segments/1480591

TNR update May 23, 2023 – #2
TNR update 3 pm – A few sources have indicate the wind will be less than 30 kph but it may be gusty. Therefore we will be a GO tentatively for now. If it’s bad out there; we may make a call to shorten the route. Let’s plan to RIDE.
